Ari Twersky: The Best Curly Hair Inspiration you will find today.

Ari Twersky is the adorable and influential star behind the Curlee Girlee movement .  When Ari was a baby she had no hair at all. While everyone else’s hair was growing down her back, Ari’s hair simply refused to grow.  When it finally began to sprout, sometime around age 3, Ari’s mom noticed that it was curly.  This was somewhat odd since no one else in the immediate family had curly hair.  Where did Ari’s hair come from??  Atara, the author behind the Curlee Girlee book series, wanted to ensure that Ari loved her special curls and never felt second best to her straight hair counterparts.  Curly hair was cute as a baby, but so many curly haired women seemed to be struggling.   The first book in the Curlee Girlee series, was written organically, simple as an ode to Ari to  ensure she always felt special and unique and embraced her curls and the legacy of her hair, understanding that her hair connected her to those who came before her, even if it wasn’t mom or dad.  What happened once the book was published, was something that Atara never could have anticipated.  Curly girls of all ages, everywhere began to relate, to align and to share their stories of feeling “less than” because of their curls.  Curlee Girlee sparked a movement of embracing our natural selves and discovering the legacy of our hair and Ari Twersky:  the best curly  hair inspiration you will find today was born!

Ari is now a sparkly vivacious, at times shy, but always delightful child, whose style has earned her influencer status and whose famous curls will always be connected to a book series and a movement that is changing the coarse of curly hair.  Ari loves to sing and act and she can often be found writing her own plays that she then acts in.  She is playful and joyful and loves to swim, eat lollipops and anything sugary and who loves red peppers almost as much as candy.  Ari is beloved by her teachers and friends alike, to know Ari is to be enraptured by her sparkly shiny smile and her infectious laugh.  Ari is a great Curly girl role model for girls everywhere.  She loves her curls and thanks to the curly girl movement and book series she can now, no longer recall a time when she didn’t.  Changing the inner dialogue of our curly girls started with Ari, it continues with curly girls everywhere!
